Azlan Nur Saidy

Planner

Azlan Nur Saidy (he/his) is a settler of Muslim and Malay heritage living on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ. He is a planner with a passion for encouraging different worldviews to flourish in planning processes. Azlan is especially interested in gamification, ethical space, social justice and equitable public engagement.

Azlan has a variety of experience in civic engagement, including in community, academic, public and non-profit sectors. He holds a Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University. In his spare time, he enjoys birding, playing board games and listening to K-pop.
