
Jean Roe
Planner
Jean Roe (she/her) is a planner with a passion for thoughtful design and creative storytelling. She strives to help build engaged, resilient, and healthy communities.
At MODUS, Jean wears many hats, including designer, project manager, facilitator, and illustrator. Jean also produces 360 Degree City, a podcast by Intelligent Futures. She has a Masters in Planning (University of British Columbia) and a Bachelor of Arts (Urban Studies, University of Calgary).
Jean is grateful to live and work on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She grew up on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, Kainai), the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, Wesley), and the Métis Nation (Region III).
