Quixada Moore-Vissing is a civic researcher and designer of participatory engagement processes, both in the United States and internationally. She has worked for over a decade in the public engagement space, in leadership roles at universities and nonprofits, and holds particular expertise in engagement related to higher education, K-12 education, criminal justice, rural contexts, and measurement of engagement. Quixada trained in principles of nonviolence and peace with Kingian civil rights leaders and Gandhian scholars. She holds a PhD in Education, a Masters in Communication and another in Education, and a Bachelors in Literature and the Avant-Garde.
